Juvenile Court

Since 1975, Mr. Fuhrman has represented children ages 6 to 17 who have been charged in juvenile court with the violations of law ranging from DUI to homicide, burglary to drug use. Because these “delinquency” matters move quickly through juvenile court, families require an experienced attorney who quickly assembles the facts, witnesses and professionals needed to defend juveniles.

For more than 50 years, the Law Office of William R. Fuhrman has also represented parents who are facing the loss of custody of their children through juvenile court “dependency” proceedings. Law enforcement agencies and Child Protective Services (CPS) of the Dept. Of Health and Human Services (HHSA) initiate these petitions which the San Diego County Counsel’s office prosecutes.
